# Connect Instagram

> Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account to publish and schedule posts in Raddivus, linking each account to a brand via Instagram or Facebook login.

Connecting Instagram lets you publish and schedule the posts you create in [Instagram content](/instagram/overview). You can connect more than one account and link each to a brand.

## Before you start

<Note>
  * You need an **Instagram Business or Creator** account. Personal accounts are not supported.
  * Publishing is available on the **Growth** and **VIP** plans. On other plans the account still connects, but publishing is preview-only.
  * There is **no credit cost** to connect or to publish.
</Note>

## Choose a connection path

When you click **Connect Instagram** in **Settings → Connections**, you choose one of two paths:

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Continue with Instagram (recommended)">
    The simplest path. It needs only your Instagram Business or Creator account,
    with no Facebook Page required. Tokens last about 60 days and refresh
    automatically while the account stays connected.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Continue with Facebook">
    For accounts managed through a Facebook Page. You sign in with Facebook and
    grant access to the Page linked to your Instagram account. These tokens
    cannot auto-refresh, so you will occasionally need to reconnect.
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## Connect your account

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Connections">
    Go to **Settings → Connections** and find the **Instagram** card. Click
    **Connect Instagram**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a login path">
    Choose **Continue with Instagram** or **Continue with Facebook** in the
    modal, then sign in and grant the requested permissions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select accounts and link brands">
    Raddivus shows every Instagram account under that login. Tick the ones you
    want to connect, choose which brand each links to, and click **Connect**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Manage connected accounts">
    Connected accounts show their username and linked brand, with **Reconnect**
    and **Unlink** buttons. If a token is close to expiring, a reconnect prompt
    appears.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  If Instagram is not connected yet, scheduling still works. Your post is saved
  as a draft with a date attached, and you can promote it to a live scheduled
  post once you connect.
</Note>
