Connecting Instagram lets you publish and schedule the posts you create in Instagram content. You can connect more than one account and link each to a brand.

Before you start

  • You need an Instagram Business or Creator account. Personal accounts are not supported.
  • Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page, because you connect it by signing in with Facebook.
  • Publishing is available on the Professional and VIP plans. On other plans the account still connects, but publishing is preview-only.
  • There is no credit cost to connect or to publish.
  • Publishing to Instagram is rolling out account by account while our Meta app approval completes. If Post now or Schedule is not yet enabled on your account, contact support and we will switch it on for you.

How the connection works

When you click Connect Instagram in Settings → Connections, you sign in with Continue with Facebook and grant access to the Page linked to your Instagram account. These tokens cannot auto-refresh, so you will occasionally need to reconnect.
Signing in with Instagram directly (no Facebook Page needed) is coming back once our Meta app approval completes. Until then, Meta only allows it for a small set of test accounts, so it is hidden.

Connect your account

1

Open Connections

Go to Settings → Connections and find the Instagram card. Click Connect Instagram.
2

Sign in with Facebook

Click Continue with Facebook, sign in, and grant the requested permissions for the Page linked to your Instagram account.
3

Select accounts and link brands

Raddivus shows every Instagram account under that login. Tick the ones you want to connect, choose which brand each links to, and click Connect.
4

Manage connected accounts

Connected accounts show their username and linked brand, with Reconnect and Disconnect buttons. If a token is close to expiring, a reconnect prompt appears. On a team, all teammates can use the connected accounts for publishing, but only the person who connected the account can disconnect it.
If you disconnect an account a brand publishes through and nobody else on the team has that brand connected, the brand’s scheduled posts are marked as needing a reconnect instead of being skipped. The posts are kept, and they go out as planned if the account is reconnected in time.

Troubleshooting

Open Settings → Connections and click Reconnect Instagram.
Make sure it is a Business or Creator account, that it is linked to a Facebook Page you manage, and that you granted access to that Page during sign-in. Personal accounts will not appear.
